Purpose built and perfectly positioned in a central London location away from the hustle and bustle, the space at Fluent Studios has been designed around three key values - flexibility, quality and value.
Flexibility
Flexibility through technology has been achieved allowing each space to have completely independent audio/visual control. The rooms are also linked using cameras and audio equipment, ideal for observation of activities such as market research and web usability studies.
Quality
The rooms have been designed specifically for user testing and focus groups. They are acoustically well insulated, comfortable and fully equipped with up to date audio visual hardware. We also have professional expertise on hand should you need advice on your testing set-up.
Value
Fluent Studios is a part of Fluent Interaction and was designed primarily for our internal use. As such we can offer them to other clients at extremely good value. We have no pressure to develop Fluent Studios as a growing business, rather we are keen to promote user research by offering an excellent value alternative viewing facility for organisations keen to involve themselves in usability and user research.
As well as studio hire, we are also able to offer a range of value-added services such as facilitation, user research, recruitment and knowledge capture, which can help you get the most out of your time at the studios.

Viewing/observation
The ability to combine the two research rooms with remote controlled technology allows people in one room to see and hear exactly what is happening in the other room. This is perfect for anyone wishing to conduct any kind of user research such as web usability, market research or focus groups.
Simultaneous use
The independently controlled audio video equipment enables each room to be used simultaneously for different purposes. This can help clients who need to maximise use of the space such as dividing larger groups within a workshop environment to work on different tasks.
Knowledge capture
Two separate rooms with integrated technology give the added benefit of allowing observation of meetings with little or no disruption to the meeting itself. This allows an observer to make notes, transcribe the meeting or conduct real-time research or design to maximise the outputs from the meeting.

Designers
From our observation room, our skilled design team can help to visualise ideas real-time, putting together rapid prototypes for products, websites and printed material. These can be regularly shared with the group to help discussion and decision making activity.
Facilitators
If you need help to facilitate a creative workshop or to get the most out of any meeting then we are able to provide experienced facilitators that will help prepare for your meeting/workshop as well as ensuring all the objectives of the meeting are met as closely as possible.
Knowledge workers
Our knowledge workers can help by capturing real-time notes from any meeting or workshop to enable you to leave our facility with a full written record of your time here. Using the services of a knowledge worker also has the added benefit of being able to conduct real-time research without disrupting your meeting.
User research specialists
We are able to provide highly experienced user research specialists that can help you to validate your ideas with real users as well as understand potential problems with current or proposed web and product solutions.
